"...There are bands that believe popularity is the hallmark of rock and roll. A song, however insipid, is only as good as the number of people that own it. A performance, however uninspired, is only important if it's being played to a packed house. There are plenty of bands that believe all of that. Hell, plenty of those bands even think that they get it. Then there are bands that truly believe in Rock and Roll. Bands that give it the respect, reverence, and sacrifice that it deserves. These bands don't doubt for a second that it's a battlefield, it's the last frontier of the downtrodden, it's escapism, and for the devoted, it's a means of escape.

Hunchback are one of these bands. Hunchback are glorious. So it goes without saying that Hunchback are popular, at least in the proper circles, but their glory lay in the fact that their popularity is none of their concern. As some other oft-quoted goofball said, to be popular is to be mediocre. Or some shit like that. Hunchback are beyond public opinion. Hunchback get it. Hunchback are with it. And, as you shall soon find out dear reader, the Hunchback are it..."
